About Bulk STOCS
Bulk STOCS is the B2B trade platform of STOCS, a UK-based business that sells surplus stock on behalf of major retailers and brands.
We sell to the trade only: independent retailers, market traders, online resellers, exporters, refurbishers, and anyone whose business depends on sourcing the right stock at the right price.
How Bulk STOCS started
STOCS was founded in 2021 to tackle a specific problem: the volume of unsold retail inventory — returns, overstocks, end-of-line — that loses value or ends up in landfill because retailers don't have the infrastructure to find the right buyers for it.
Now owned by Inventory Recycling UK Ltd, the wider STOCS business works with retailers and brands across the UK and Europe to grade, route, and sell that inventory through the right channel for each lot. Bulk STOCS is the B2B trade side of that operation — where the volume goes.
Where the stock comes from
Most of what we list is brand-new overstock, end-of-line, and short-dated inventory from large UK and international retailers, alongside channel surplus direct from brand owners. We also list customer returns and refurbished product, graded and manifested to the same standard.
Every lot comes from direct retailer and brand relationships — not anonymous middle layers.
How we grade
Every item is condition-graded before it goes live. We grade conservatively — borderline items go in the lower grade.
- New
- Unopened. Sellable as standard retail.
- New / Open Box
- Appears unused, no visible marks. May have been opened or handled.
- Refurbished — Excellent
- Fully functional. No visible cosmetic marks at arm's length.
- Refurbished — Good
- Fully functional. Light cosmetic wear.
- Refurbished — Fair
- Fully functional. Visible scratches, scuffs or moderate marks.
- Faulty
- Does not function correctly or fails testing.
- Untested
- Completely untested returned items.
Mixed-grade pallets show the condition split item by item on the manifest. What's on the listing is what's in the lot.
Manifests and pricing
Every listing comes with a full item-level manifest: product, condition grade, original retail value, and unit cost. Prices are shown VAT-excluded. There are no hidden auction fees and no "request a quote" gates — the price is the price.
How to buy
You can buy a single pallet or a full container. New lots are added multiple times per day and sold first-come-first-served, so registered buyers see fresh listings before they're gone.
Strategic partnerships
For buyers operating at scale — exporters running container programmes, refurbishment operations, multi-store retailers, online resellers at high volume — we work outside the standard listing flow. Strategic accounts are run as direct supply arrangements with named contacts on both sides.
If you have ongoing demand by category, brand, condition grade, or end-market, we are open to building pallets and containers to specification rather than waiting for the right lot to appear on the public listings. That covers recurring container programmes, brand- and category-specific supply matched to what you sell, and bespoke pallet builds drawn from incoming retailer stock.
This is not a self-service product — it is a conversation. If your business depends on consistent, predictable supply at volume, get in touch and we will work out what makes sense.
Where the stock is located
Our warehouse is at:
1 Premier Park, Branston Industrial Estate, Lichfield Road, Branston, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, DE14 3HD
Collections are arranged as part of the ordering process and booked through our online system. We don't currently offer delivery, but we can recommend a reliable local haulier — Vortex Logistics — who buyers can book directly.
Stock viewings and site visits are by appointment only. Buyers collecting orders in person are usually welcome to a quick site tour: a walk-through of how we receive, grade, and list stock, and a look at what's currently on the floor.
Warranty
Bulk STOCS is a business-to-business platform. All goods are sold to registered trade buyers acting in the course of their business, not to consumers — and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 therefore does not apply to purchases made through the platform.
Stock is sold as described and as graded on the listing manifest. We do not provide a warranty on the products we supply, and to the fullest extent permitted by law — including under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 — implied terms as to satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose, and correspondence with description are excluded from sale. This does not affect any rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including those relating to title under section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979.
Buyers are expected to inspect listings, review the manifest, and price their onward resale on the basis that goods are acquired without warranty from STOCS.
Why we built it this way
The wholesale liquidation market has historically traded on opacity: inflated grades, missing manifests, prices hidden behind contact forms, and pallets that don't match the description. We built Bulk STOCS because the buyers we work with wanted the opposite — graded honestly, manifested in full, priced openly, and supplied by a UK business they can pick up the phone to.
That's how Bulk STOCS works. Straightforward, predictable, no fuss.
